Morgon ‘Les Charmes’ 2023

This Morgon red wine boasts a rich and complex aromatic profile, complemented by a robust structure and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.

The Morgon “Les Charmes” 2023 is produced in the Morgon appellation of the Beaujolais region, known for its light, dry red wines. The vineyards are worked with horses and are certified organic and biodynamic, ensuring a natural and sustainable approach to winemaking. The wine is aged in oak barrels for one year. No artificial ingredients. Light and fruity – >10 mg added sulfites.

On around 4 hectares, the vines in Morgon and Beaujolais-Villages (in Lantignié and Saint Joseph) are worked on the horse in the oldest vines, and cared for without synthetic products, in organic and biodynamics (certified organic and Demeter). The Morgon has been organic for over twenty years and the vines have all been worked in biodynamics since the installation in 2017. The vinifications are done as close as possible to nature: maceration in cement tank, then aging (or not) a few months in oak or amphora barrel.
Olivier Renard uses natural sulfite at very low dose to secure bottling, that’s all!
