The fruit from the new vineyards, which are planted with grenache, syrah, merlot, alicante, cabernet sauvignon, has gone into the 2022 Avanti Popolo. The wine  has a subtly different energy than Axel’s wines tend to, and also has a faded label to express that the wine wasn’t 100% the product of Axel’s work. Nevertheless, it’s really tasty, balanced and stable.
