Into the White

Mas Foulaqier is run by Swiss born Pierre Jéquier and his wife and fellow winemaker Blandine Chauchet.
Pierre is a former architect but was pursuing a more artisanal way of living. In 1998, after a long search, he ended up buying the estate
in Caret in the north of Pic Saint-Loup. The estate already had 8 ha of 8-year-old vines (Now more than 30 years of age).
Blandine joined the team in 2013 and brought with her another 3 ha of 50+ years old vines of Grenache and Carignan.
The vines are certified organic and since 2007 also certified biodynamic. Field work including harvest is carried out by hand.
The wines are made in a low intervention style with native yeasts, no filtration and minimal use of sulphur added only at bottling.
