Bourgogne Vézelay – Les Saulniers 2022

Jean and Catherine Montanet have been pivotal in rejuvenating Vézelay’s wine region since planting their first vines in 1987. Initially part of a cooperative, Jean founded Domaine de la Cadette in 1999, aiming for pure, terroir-driven wines.

Today, the family operates three separate wine businesses, all sharing the same principles. Led by their son Valentin, Domaine de la Cadette focuses on eco-friendly farming, minimal cellar intervention, and minimal sulfur addition at bottling.

Their wines offer Burgundy’s quality at reasonable prices, known for elegance, precision, and minerality, aged primarily in stainless steel tanks or old barrels.
