This bottle has a lot of structure. Lots of depth. Complex without being complicated.

Benene På Nakken is the quintessential Æblerov cider, and where it all started for us. The name is an homage to childhood memories of scrumping apples and having to make a run for it, when your angry neighbor caught you red-handed. True to tradition, Benene På Nakken pays homage to the finest Danish fruit orchards and our indigenous apple varieties. Blended with a hint of cider apples for body, a generous touch of pears for sweetness, and a subtle addition of quince, our cider delivers a refreshingly quenching taste akin to a lemonade. All fruit is certified organic.

Process

Direct-pressed apples, fermented with wild yeast. Zero additives. Disgorged.

Mixed fermentation madness

Fruit & origin: Cider & food apples (Topaz & Aroma) from Tvedemose, Organic Solaris grapes from Møns Økologisk wineyard, Elderflowers from Lystgården and Citra hops from To Øl. Description: Rainbow child is our dogmatic grape & hops based hybrid cider. For 2020 we also did a cold maceration with elderflowers resulting in a super herbal and floral wine/cider/beer hybrid. Fun, serious and boundary pushing. Process: Direct pressed apples, maceration on Solaris grapeskins, dry hopped and cold macerated with Elderflowers. zero additives. Disgorged ABV: 7,1% Alcohol

Fruit & origin: 65% Apples, 25% Pears 10% Quince. All organic fruit from our friends at Tvedemose Description: Cox I Pæren is our fruit pet-nat made with apples quince and pears. This cuvee is super electric and energetic filled with notes of papaya, lychee plus a little bit of volatile and sweetness from the pears. Refined, fun and very drinkable Process: Direct pressed apples and pears spontanious fermented together, Quince maceration, Zero additives. Disgorged. ABV: 6,9% Alcohol

Get ready for some serious orange fruitiness. The 2021 Pêchillant vintage is a beautiful combination of fermented apples, peaches, raspberries and a bit of leftover beer from Baghavens sour beer production.

Pêchillant is a super refreshing petnat with all the peachy notes you could ever imagine, a bit of sweetness from the raspberries and some contrasting bitterness from the hops.

An apple mulled wine based on barrel-aged cider, cryo-concentrated cider, apple must and a lot of lovely Christmas spices.

It holds a nice 15.5 vol in alcohol.

The taste is deep, appley and lots of oxidative notes from the barrel and the fruit. It almost tastes like an orange wine, just without the tannins.
